After studying furniture design at university, my career path has taken me from the discipline of architectural detailing through to exhibition and event design, designing office space and to my love of the home and residential interiors.
This broad base has given me a deep understanding of construction methods from traditional and contemporary house building to those of fine pieces of furniture as well as the use of modern materials in homeware design.
I live by the sentiments of our Scandinavian friends who have this wonderful word (we’ve now
adopted) that is Hygge (Hoo-Gah). It translates to mean cosiness, comfort and feelings of wellness and contentment.
My ethos is to create good design that lasts the test of time, I believe that design should be functional and timeless so should support the way we choose to live our lives.
I work closely with my clients to feed on their own individuality enabling me to create a space that is unique and personal to them.
